Closed Loop
The Gleason Closed Loop ensures the direct transmission of measured data from the metrology system to the production machine with auto-corrective feedback. It is part of the standard repertoire of Gleason Gear Metrology Systems.
Level 1 - Automated Lights-Out Inspection
Gleason's Closed Loop System with robotic or cobot loading now fully automates the measurement and correction process in gear production. Automatically prompting corrections on connected production machines, the GMSP series of gear metrology systems not only reduces human error in repetitive tasks, it also increases utilization of inspection equipment up to 90%.
Level 2 - Closed Loop with Auto-Corrections
Gleason Gear Metrology Systems and Gleason Hard Finishing Machines work closely together to produce optimum results. With the Closed Loop functionality between Gleason GX Series Threaded Wheel Grinding Machines and Gleason GMS Gear Metrology Systems, even complicated flank corrections can be realized easily.
GMSP Series for Production Environments
The Gleason 300GMSP nano and 475GMSP Gear Metrology Systems are ideally suited for lights-out production applications. Integrated compensation systems make these systems resistant to typical thermal and vibratory dynamics as well as contamination on the production floor.
GAMA Networking
Gleason’s versatile GAMATM Software on metrology machines and on-board measuring systems of production machines provides identical diagrams as well as easy and direct feedback of correction values. Data is transferred directly, simple and fast.
