Service Programs for Analytical Gear Metrology Systems
Comprehensive Service Programs keep Gleason Analytical Gear Metrology Systems at peak performance levels. Metrology machines must deliver absolute accuracy making professional maintenance essential. Service Programs include repeatability checks, comparison measurements based on certified master standards, alignment and adjustment, calibration, and certification. Several Service Programs are available, with or without wear part exchange. Individual maintenance modules can be added to perfectly match customers' requirements.
Fast Check
Fast Check includes a brief assessment of the machine. This simple and effective check‑up covers a basic repeatability check, test combinations using lead/involute masters or customer masters, saving the established machine configuration within the GAMA software.
Basic Service Program
The Basic Service Program is the first of three preventive maintenance levels. It includes the Fast Check Service with additional axis repeatability testing, test combinations using Gleason or customer masters, and an A2LA measurement uncertainty report (when using a Gleason combination master).
Silver Service Program
The Silver Service Program is the most frequently booked service program. It includes the Basic Service Program, plus alignment adjustments, preventive maintenance, software part‑program backup to a flash drive, combination (lead/involute) gear master calibration with certificate, and the application of a calibration sticker to the machine.
Gold Service Program
The Gold Service Program is the highest‑level service program. It includes the Silver Service Program with the addition of GAMA technology software updates (if available) and a system software backup. It also includes one year of Gleason Connect Remote Service, which can be activated already with the order or within a year from the time of order.
Customize Your Service Program
All of the above Service Programs can be individually customized to your specific requirements. These programs are “made‑to‑fit” offers and vary in scope depending on the specific machine series and your operational goals.
