Gear Hobbing Introduction
Basic knowledge about the gear hobbing process. Setup and operation of a gear hobbing machine, optimization based on a measured result.

▪ Various hobbing machines.
▪ Hobbing machine axes.
▪ Different hobbing, milling, chamfering and deburring processes.
▪ Introduction to the Gleason-Pfauter dialog program for gear hobbing.
▪ Understanding and analyzing diagrams (with examples).
▪ Questions and answers.
PC/MAC or mobile device with internet connection (ideally 50 Mbit). We recommend the use of the following browsers, latest version: Windows Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, enabled to receive incoming video/audio streams, bidirectional streaming is optional and requires a webcam on your end. For groups participating in one room, we recommend to connect multiple computers or mirroring to a larger screen.
Access to the Online Training
After successful registration you will receive access data for the chosen training class. Contact the Gleason-Pfauter Training Department for your individual online training date.
A certificate is issued with successful completion.
Please select language and date of the desired training class. Then, add the selected class to your shopping cart. The selection in your shopping cart will not trigger an order, but starts a request for quotation with your preferred date (unconfirmed). The Gleason Academy team will contact you with further details and discuss options - at this time, we require the machine’s serial number.
