High Performance Hobs
Gleason Cutting Tools manufactures top quality high performance gear hobs for the latest generation of hobbing machines, including hobs for all automotive and industrial applications (shank-type or bore-type), splines, chain sprockets, pulley hobs and worm wheels. Hobs are made from high performance PM-HSS materials including hard-wearing materials such as G90 and latest coatings like TiNite®, AlNite®, AlCroNite®, or AlCroNite®GearPro.

Gear Shaper Cutters and Power Skiving Tools
Gleason Cutting Tools offers disc-, deep counterbore and shank-type gear shaper cutters and power skiving tools for the production of gears, splines, serrations, sprockets and other profiles. Tools are available in all customary tool steels and carbide with standard coatings, including reconditioning and recoating services. All power skiving tools can be employed on dedicated power skiving machines and modern 5-axis machining centers.
