Gleason Expands Mexico Presence with New Technology Center Saltillo, Coahuila
On June 26 and 27, 2024, Gleason invites customers and business partners to the grand opening of its new 10,000-square-foot facility in the industrial city of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. The two-day grand opening celebration includes the official ribbon-cutting ceremony and a tour of the production floor presenting Gleason Mexico’s tool reconditioning capabilities for many types of gear manufacturing tools, including inspection and certification services for gears and gear cutting tools.
During the event, management of Gleason Mexico will provide further insight on the future development of the new Gleason Mexico Technology Center Saltillo as a base for field service engineers serving customers in the North of Mexico, and as host of Gleason’s Gear Academy, which has been providing gear technology knowhow and training courses to the Mexican gear manufacturing industry for more than 24 years, including the well-known “Gear School” and many other training courses in Spanish language.
Throughout the grand opening event, Gleason management and staff will be available to discuss specific applications and answer technology questions. Participants will have the opportunity to network and exchange experiences while tasting the local Mexican cuisine and traditional “aguas frescas”.
Gleason Mexico was established on August 23, 2000, in the city of Querétaro, Qro with a staff of 8 employees. Today, Gleason Mexico has grown into a manufacturing, service and training location with 34 employees, strengthening Gleason’s position in the local market while supporting Gleason’s vision of Total Gear Solutions.
