Most Versatile Solution in the Industry

The Intra SFTX is designed to measure a wide range of drivetrain components including: automotive EV gears, rotor and input shafts (assembled or bare), intermediate assemblies in any configuration, final drive output gears and differential assemblies.

TA Torsional Acceleration Testing

Intra's TA system features a programmable CNC with constant center distance and supports test speeds of ±2000 rpm on either flank, in both directions. It delivers Intra "Pure Torque" of ±30 Nm, with multi-pass tests possible at varying torque levels and speeds. Certified for accuracy and systematic noise levels, Intra SFT series offering programmable order resolution from 0.125 to 1 with repeatability better than 1.2 dB. A configurable synchronous order range from 256 up to 4096 accommodates demanding applications such as special EV gears, with optional spindle condition monitoring via accelerometers.

Single Flank TE Analysis

Intra SFTX evaluates rotational accuracy of each flank versus a master/mating gear with high-precision Static and Dynamic Transmission Error. Intra's "Pure Torque" drive removes motor resonance, while automatic calibration eliminates fixture/master errors and aligns to journals. Advanced order analysis (ghosts, harmonics), SPC evaluation, flexible visualization, and a "Worst TE Order" indicator enable fast, reliable quality assessment.

Real-Time Process Control

Intra SFTX measures key DIN 3961 gear parameters on every flank—profile and helix deviations, cumulative pitch deviation (concentricity), overball dimension, circularity (worst order), and surface defects. Integrated FFT analysis of flank orders enables precise frequency-domain diagnostics and fast root-cause identification.

CRITERION Analysis Software supports the complete inspection and analysis process of gears and other parts with rotationally symmetrical geometry. CRITERION puts powerful features right at your fingertips. The simple, intuitive human-machine interface improves operators' performance. Charts are easily configured to meet customer preferences or international standards such as AGMA, DIN, ISO, JIS, GOST, China GB, and others.

Automatic or Semi-Automatic Execution

Fully automatic Intra SFTX systems are ideally suited for high-volume production, offering hands-free operation and seamless integration into automated lines. In case greater flexibility for mixed or lower-volume production is required, Intra SFT systems are available with operator-assisted loading. Both solutions deliver the same high-precision single flank measurement performance — the right choice depends on your production needs.

Axial Alignment Option for Coaxial Gearboxes

SFTX with integrated axial alignment option delivers precise and repeatable measurement results for complex coaxial gearboxes with compound gears. By controlling the exact rotational relationship between gear stages, transmission error influences can be intentionally analyzed, minimized, or optimized. The result is maximum measurement accuracy, improved NVH performance insight, and reliable functional validation of complete gearbox systems.
