Coxial Bearing Shaft Systems considering inner Bearing Geometry
This advanced training deals with the modeling, analysis and optimization of coaxial bearing shaft systems. Participants will learn about the theories underlying the calculation methods, how to build models and select settings, and how to interpret the results in result windows and protocols.
This course is aimed for engineers with initial experience in shaft and bearing calculations. It is assumed that participants already know the input interface and the shaft editor of KISSsoft, either by using the software or by attending a basic training.
Dates and Times
The training takes place in 2 sessions on 2 consecutive days.
For participants in Europe:
October 18, 2023: CET 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)
October 19, 2023: CET 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)
For participants in parts of the Americas:
October 18, 2023: EST 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (New York)
October 19, 2023: EST 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (New York)
The influence of the inner geometry of the rolling bearings, clearances and thermal influences are considered. It is shown how this has an impact on the shaft deformation and the load distribution in the rolling bearings.
Modifications of rolling element geometry and the influence on contact stresses are discussed. Stresses inside the rolling bearing rings are calculated and the stress distribution on the raceway is illustrated.
Natural frequencies, critical speeds, forced vibrations is another part of the topics presented.
The module specific settings and their influence as well as the bearing databases and the management of bearing data are also discussed in detail.
Registration deadline: October 12, 2023
Before the start of the training, participants will receive an actual test version, electronic training documentation and an invitation link to join the Live Stream training.
Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate is issued.
