KISSsys - Part 2: System Calculations

KISSsys is a powerful tool to model and analyze entire transmission groups. It allows the user to have the results of all gearbox element calculations in an overview, even for different operating conditions. With the help of KISSsys your design process will increase in speed and reliability.

The KISSsys training consists of 3 individual parts that build on each other. Part 2 focuses on system-based calculations including efficiency calculation, calculation considering housing deformations, modal analysis and system reliability.

The training is meant for design engineers and everybody who likes to calculate gearboxes using a system tool. In order to participate in this training course, participants should have a basic knowledge of KISSsys or should have participated in part 1 (Modeling Gearboxes)

Topics

The second part of the KISSsys training introduces participants to system based calculations and other important functionalities in KISSsys. This includes the efficiency calculation, calculation considering housing deformations, modal analysis and system reliability. Possibilities to perform a load spectrum analysis and its combination with system calculations will be shown. Programming of a basic code to export result data will conclude the day.

The full schedule is provided in the training program.
