A cutter adaptor height is entered in case of a cutter adaptor or in case of
grinding wheels, which always uses an adaptor in combination with the CBN
grinding wheel.

As cutter reference height, the cutter of grinding wheel height, as result of
the measurement shown in the right photo in Figure 34 is entered.

The wheel direction (Figure 16) controls the direction of the tool rotation. In

case of Uniflex cutting with Coniflex Plus cutters the direction CW has to be
selected.

Also, the tool outer diameter is measured as shown in Figure 34 (left side)
and entered in the summary.

The input item inner slot width is optional. The software uses this value to
make recommendations regarding the optimal tool dimensions.

Tool top width in case of a Coniflex Plus cutter is the top width in the blade
®
grinding summary. It is the equivalent value in case of a grinding wheel. This
input is used by the software to calculate the precise compensation of the cut-
ter reference height as it is obtained in the measurement according to Fig-
ure 36.
