KISSdesign® is the new powerful KISSsoft® System Module to model and analyze entire transmissions. This training is about getting started with the new module. Participants get an overview about the interface and basic functionalities including the explanation of all existing tools and settings for general model build up.

The training is meant for design engineers, KISSsoft and KISSsys® users who would like to model, analyze and calculate gearboxes using a system tool.

Date and Time

The training will take place in 2 consecutive sessions.

For participants in Europe:
December 09, 2024: CET 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)
December 10, 2024: CET 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)

For participants in parts of the Americas:
December 09, 2024: EST 8:30 am - 12:00 pm (New York)
December 10, 2024: EST 8:30 am - 12:00 pm (New York)

The training starts with a general presentation of the KISSsoft System Module interface. The tools and functionalities needed for model build up will be shown and explained. The main focus is placed on the Sketcher and its usage for different kinematic models. After the introduction of these basic concepts, the positioning of elements in space and the system settings are shown. Participants learn how to change existing geometries either by using sizing functionalities or by varying KISSsoft calculations in a model.

For detailed information, please see the training program.

You will need a notebook to actively participate in the training course. For this training, we strongly recommend to use 2 screens in order to use the software and the Sketcher in its full functionality at the same time.

Registration deadline: December 5, 2024
The registration for this training is done via the website. Please select the training by placing it into the Cart. From there fill out all required information and submit your registration.

Before the start of the training, participants will receive an actual test version Release 2024, training documentation and an invitation link to join the Live Stream training.
