or  15”  diameter.  Like  UNIMILL,  Uniflex  performs  a  swing  or  stroke  motion
                   along the face width of a slot and machines one generating flat in one stroke.

                   Uniflex allows either the extension of the machine limits by applying a smaller
                   size Coniflex cutter or it can be used to achieve a nearly straight root line. The
                   Uniflex method is equally suited for the manufacturing of straight bevel gears
                   according to the Coniflex method or for the cutting or grinding of face gears
                   according to the Coniface process. The available three sizes of Phoenix ma-
                   chines are all capable of performing the Uniflex cutting or grinding method.
