                   These numbers can be changed during a fine tuning of the MicroForm results. The
                   items MF15 and MF16 provide a vertical shift of the function in Figure 3 at the toe
                   or heel. If the item MF17 is entered not equal to zero, then the angle entered is
                   used instead of the center roll position. The last three MicroForm input items are
                   transferred from the dimension sheet of the particular gear design.


                   17.3  Parameter Optimizations - MicroForm

                   In general, gear manufacturers aim to reduce the noise, vibration and harshness
                   (NVH) of a gearset when considering psychoacoustic effects. It is recommended
                   to start with MicroForm and use the proposed input parameters given in Figure 2.
                   If the single flank variation and FFT results and the audible noise do not improve,
                   then the parameters MF2, MF3, MF4 and MF5 should be changed according to
                   Figure 4.
