machining position will not affect the surface finish as long as the same num-
ber of roll positions is used.

An additional feature of the Uniflex process is the possibility of a fin removal at
the end of each upper flank cutting. The fin removal process will in a number of
swing strokes, which can be chosen via input screen, clean out the root fillet in
case that fins or steps have been observed. The result is a smooth and well-
rounded tooth fillet.
