The Gleason Works’ market position due to the significant demand for Gleason’s
products. The Gleason Works is called upon to contribute its technical expertise
to the Apollo Space Program. Specialized Curvic Couplings are developed for
the propellant pump found in the Saturn V Rocket in 1969.
