In order to make this book readily available for every interested gear engineer,
the main publication media format is as an e-book. The e-book is available for
purchase online. However, it is also possible to obtain the answers to specific
questions on the Gleason website with free access to the eBook. For those
with a fondness for having a bound book as reference on their office book-
shelf, a hard cover version is available as well.
Gear Engineering Solutions covers 30 topics on 462 pages with 396 figures
and 15 tables which provide a better understanding and easier memorization
of the covered material. The chapters are organized by the following 6 main
topics:
Part 1 - General Topics
Part 2 - Straight Bevel and Zerol Gears
Part 3 - Couplings, Clutches and Splines
Part 4 - Spiral Bevel and Hypoid Gears
Part 5 - Cutters and Blades
Part 6 - Prototyping
