Refers to an adjustable mounting structure for a cutter spindle used on generating machines. When there is tilt, the cutter axis is not parallel to the cra- dle axis. On generating machines the cutter is tilted for two reasons: (1) To match the cutter pressure angle with the pressure angle of the job; (2) To make the cutter represent a tooth of the mating gear. The actual resulting tilt on the cutter and its direction depends on both types of tilt.<\/div>
