The participants in this training are trained in the fundamentals of proper commissioning, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for the electrical equipment of the of the ZH series.

Intended for the programming personnel of Hurth-Honing 
machines. The following issues are tought:

  • Program correction and maintenance of honing programs

Aimed at production personnel who work with finished machines.  The Operator Jobsetter Training course teaches the knowledge and skills required to keep production running. This training provides the necessary skills to:

  • Operate the machine correctly and safely
  • Change job and work piece corrections
  • How to deal with simple problems

 

The Mechanical Servicing training is aimed at personnel responsible for the maintenance and repair of Gleason machines. The participants in this training are trained in the fundamentals of proper maintenance and repair work of the SRS series.

Electrical maintenance training is aimed at the personnel responsible for the electrical maintenance of the machine with controller Siemens 840D. The participants in this training are trained in the fundamentals of proper commissioning, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for the electrical equipment of the of the SRS series

The training is intended for programming personnel of Gleason machines.  Training consists program correction and maintenance of grinding programs as well as creating new Gleason programs

Participants will be able to enter shaper-cutter wheel, work-gear and technology data in the Gleason-Pfauter shaping dialogue program, set up machine programs and process work gears on their own.

The training is independent of the machine type and the machine equipment.  Of course we take into consideration the special features of the machine, the previous knowledge and wishes of the participants.

The course is a parallel axial gear course dealing with fundamentals of gears, gear inspection, use and care of cutting tools and materials and coating for these tools.

The S40 workshop is intended for programming personnel of Hurth-Shaving machines. 

The following topics are covered:

  • Program correction and maintenance of shaving programs

This course will provide a familiarization with spur and helical gear grinding. The class will include a description of the 245TWG High Speed Threaded Wheel Grinder CNC Spur and Helical Gear Grinder. It will also include machine setup, operation and gear grinding development and techniques.

The Mechanical Servicing training is aimed at personnel responsible for the maintenance and repair of Gleason-Hurth machines. The participants in this training are trained in the fundamentals of proper maintenance and repair work of the ZH series.

This comprehensive three (3) day program provides a solid introduction for those new to the gear industry as well as an excellent review for experienced technologists.  The Basic Gear Metrology module focuses on the involute helicoid system that is widely used for cylindrical gears and splines.  Composite and elemental measurement methods are described and contrasted.  Categories, causes, and consequences of gear accuracy errors are discussed.

The Calibration and Metrology module explores the subject of measurement validity beginning with discussion of important but often overlooked metrology issues.  New traceability and calibration concepts are outlined.  An introduction to statistical estimation of measurement uncertainty is included.

The Gear Accuracy Standards module brings participants up to date with the recent changes in important AGMA and ISO documents.

A Spline Measurement Module can also be included in the program.

Training groups are kept small so that individual concerns may be fully addressed.
