A breakthrough concept - the first patented, disposable, non-resharpenable hob! Resharpening and recoating costs are often triple the initial cost of the tool. In addition, resharpenable tools have always been designed for compromise, doing the job within the confines of allowing re-sharpening.
We offer a complete line of throw-away, non-resharpenable Wafer® hobs and shaper cutters.
Maximum cutting geometry and maximum productivity through a combination of small diameter and high speed cutting ability.
Specifically designed with the requirements of automotive and other high volume producers in mind, the shank type, quick change hob combined with the high speed capability and special hob heads of new hobbing machines allows the highest possible production rates. In many cases, productivity is double that of existing setups.
Lower chip loads and higher hob accuracy produce higher quality parts -- better than AA as standard!
