Roll Dies
The high-speed, high-production gear rolling method of hard finishing worms and splines is accomplished by forming a blank between two racks (roll dies). The critical diameter and pitch line of these roll dies are maintained by Gleason Cutting Tools Corporation integrated quality assurance throughout the total process of their design and manufacture.
