For grinding of cylindrical gears with diameters up to 300 mm and module 5, the new 300TWG is capable of significantly reducing floor-to-floor times vs. conventional grinders. Using direct-drive spindles and the latest Siemens CNC and Gleason software, the 300TWG can take full advantage of the latest multi-start grinding wheels, thus improving the production rate by 5 to 10 times that of conventional single-start wheels. In addition, it’s equipped with a Gleason diamond-plated master dressing system that can dress a multi-start grinding wheel in the same time, or less, than the grinding time of one gear – regardless of the number of starts. (Also available with conventional CNC dresser). The 300TWG also comes equipped with a high-speed 2-station ring loader, with easy integration of a spin-dry station if needed.
