Heat Treat Services
Gleason possesses in-depth knowledge and expertise in a variety of heat treating operations including carburizing, austenitizing, quenching, tempering and sub-zero thermal treatments for bevel gears, cylindrical gears, bearing rings and a variety of other components. Our Gleason quenching machines minimize dimensional distortion and part variation, ensuring consistency. Our Metallurgical laboratory is capable of assessing the integrity of heat treated microstructures, and is able to verify that the heat treating process was performed correctly. Additionally, we have the equipment and capability to provide both failure analysis and image analysis services.
