The VERS-Grip® is a compensating-type chuck which allows up to 0.005 inch shank tolerance from part to part while still maintaining accuracy and repeatability to 0.0002 inch. It centers and grips the part shank on 2 separate diameters in addition to simultaneous pull-back of the part against the shoulder. Holding capabilities of 100 foot pounds. Ideal for applications that require centering of multi-diameter shaft parts without the need of a tailstock.
