Pitchline Chucks can be designed and manufactured for grinding, turning and hard turning applications on non-Gleason machines. The arbor locates from the gear pitchline for grinding the bore, hub and back face of the gear. Activation of the locator pins is accomplished via built-in spring chuck arrangement using pneumatic or hydraulic de-chucking. Runout accuracies of 0.0002 inch or better are regularly insured.
