The Gleason Works reserves the right to cancel any course for which enrollment is insufficient. In such cases, trainees will be rescheduled in the earliest possible alternative class.
Language of Instruction
All classes at The Gleason Works Training Center are taught in English. If trainees require an interpreter, one must be provided by them or arranged through their machine dealer.
Application and Registration
Trainees must e-mail, send or fax a "Request for Registration" form to The Gleason Works. The form must be received at Gleason at least 30 days before the starting date of the requested class. This form must specify Machine type, CNC Control Type, Accommodation Request, Method of Payment and English speaking capability. NOTE: If training is part of a machine order, please specify both machine type and machine order number.
The number of trainees accepted for any class will be limited, with priority given to those applicants whose "Request for Registration" forms are received earliest. Submission of the request form does not guarantee enrollment.
International trainees should apply for courses through an authorized Gleason dealer or subsidiary office.
Applicants accepted for training will receive a "Confirmation of Registration" form, listing full details of the arrangements made for them. Additional "Request for Registration" forms can be made by copying the original form included with this packet.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 10 days in advance of a class. If a cancellation is received after that but before the start of a class, the student will be charged 50 percent of all course fees. Students who do not attend a session for which they registered will be charged the full course fee.
Daily Schedule
Classes start each day at 8:30 AM and run through 12:00 PM. Following lunch in our cafeteria, classes resume at 12:45 PM and finish at 4:00 PM. On Friday, the last session concludes at 12:00 PM to allow trainees time to make airline connections. Three-day courses run Tuesday from 8:30 AM through Thursday at 4:00 PM..
